Y en Colombia un alto porcentaje de mujeres sobrevivientes de esta violencia enfrentan no solo sus secuelas físicas, sino también el estigma social que afecta a su identidad y autoestima, generando un quiebre a nivel emocional y familiar. Esta investigación se enfoca en demostrar el impacto positivo que puede llegar a tener la moda, en el proceso de recuperación de las sobrevivientes de ataques con agentes químicos, por medio de la asesoría de imagen; fortaleciendo su autoestima, empoderándolas y redefiniendo el sentido que tienen de sí mismas a través de técnicas de vestimenta que no solo resalten las cualidades físicas, sino que también potencien la confianza de las afectadas, facilitando su reintegración social y laboral; aportando a su proceso de sanación. Con esto se busca además sensibilizar a la sociedad sobre los efectos físicos y emocionales de la violencia con agentes químicos, promoviendo la empatía y la inclusión.Chemical attacks are one of the most devastating forms of gender-based violence today. In Colombia, a high percentage of women survivors of this violence face not only their physical scars but also the social stigma that affects their identity and self-esteem, creating an emotional and familial break. This research focuses on demonstrating the positive impact that fashion can have in the recovery process for survivors of chemical attacks through image consulting; strengthening their self-esteem, empowering them, and redefining their sense of self through clothing techniques that not only highlight physical qualities but also enhance the confidence of the affected individuals, facilitating their social and labor reintegration, and contributing to their healing process.
