Opinions of a group of students at ecci university on the inclusion of an exclusive frame for the modern languages program

Mostly aimed at detecting the position of the students in front of the inclusion of ICT as an aid to the process of formation, on Informational terms, allowing them to know the real environment to which they may face after graduation

Perceptions of 6 members of community centi about learning english based on christian religion at the people fundation

The results that were obtained in a study of a group belonging to the population are presented CENTI, about influences, perceptions, needs and benefits of learning the English language with a Christian approach based on a course offered by the People Foundation. This study, through a qualitative research, it was revealed general and particular aspects of how to learn a second language involves different personal and spiritual benefits to the members of a religious community. Samples were taken with different data collection instruments such as surveys, focus group and video recordings, which, brought different opinions, perspectives and considerations of each of the members. Throughout the thesis, different variables were generated and concluded from qualitative results and demonstrated the important factors and imaginary parameters that lead each individual to be part of the service offered by the People Foundation; They agreed on the cultural, social, religious, academic and professional importance to people who have access to such education, which consequently will bring monetary benefits, job opportunities, ability to communicate with different cultures and the ability to manifest the word of God

Learning another language has acquired more interest among people in recent years, not only because of the better job opportunities one can have, but also because it has several benefits for our health1. Those are two of the main reasons why courses related to foreign languages have become more appealing nowadays. For this project then, we have specifically taken the Modern Languages students from Universidad ECCI for a research regarding the many uncertainties that at the same time come up on them when it comes to their future, academic and work-wise, as most of them do not seem to know the Postgraduate Studies which they can pursue and / or are not fully aware about the prospective job opportunities.

Proposal of a convention between the program of modern languages of the ECCI university and the Shekinah Foundation

This project was consider the proposal of an agreement in the ECCI University and the Shekinah foundation, where each entity receives a benefit, due to the existence of the need to aid children from the foundation that take classes that permits them to learn a second language. On the other hand, the resources are limited to give a better quality and level of studies, also giving the opportunity of the ECCI University to provide social service.

La relevancia del idioma y cultura extranjera en los negocios

El presente trabajo investigativo muestra la importancia del idioma inglés y la cultura extranjera para los negocios de acuerdo a un grupo de funcionarios de la empresa Kaeser Compresores de Colombia, empresa importadora y exportadora de compresores y sus partes, la cual tiene constante contacto no solo con su casa matriz en Alemania, también tiene contacto con otros países como Estados Unidos, Ecuador, Perú y Venezuela. En la primera parte se encontrará el porqué del desarrollo de este estudio, plasmado en la introducción, planteamiento del problema de investigación y la justificación. En la segunda parte el marco teórico referencia la teoría que se adoptó para este estudio del psicólogo estadounidense John Broadus Watson el conductismo, definiendo la teoría y los términos usados en el trabajo investigativo. En la tercera parte se mostrará al lector el diseño metodológico de la investigación en donde se muestra el tipo de investigación, el método de la investigación, lugar en donde se realizó el estudio, número y descripción de los participantes entrevistados y encuestados, instrumentos de recolección y proceso del análisis de los resultados. En la cuarta parte se encontrará el análisis de los datos y por último las conclusiones y recomendaciones correspondientes de la investigación.

This research study had as main objectives to identify participants’ perceptions about the four (4) areas of administration in the Tycoon Anno and at the same time to establish its strengths and weaknesses. In order to obtain such information, a qualitative-descriptive case study was carried out through coding frames and a survey applied to five (5) participants. Thanks to the research valuable results were found which aim at the existence of three (3) areas of administration and one (1) of these is not made evident. On the other hand relevant strengths and weaknesses were found, for those reasons it contributes to do recommendations at the end of the document.

The research project was performed looking for the importance of having a specialized languages library for the Faculty of Humanities at the Escuela Colombiana de Carreras Industriales (ECCI), it searched to explore different point of view of the students, similarities and necessities about BEL (Library specialized in languages); in order to generate changes in the current library and thus benefit students of different programs and faculty of the university. A library for students, which has bibliographic and technological resources for teaching and learning of academic training
