Publicación Acceso abierto Programa de Vigilancia Epidemiológica para la mitigación del riesgo Biomecánico en la Empresa Almapal Colombia.(2021-01-25) Maldonado Guerrero, Diana; Ferro Suarez, Lizeth Paola; Chávez Martínez, Julián Esteban; Almapal Colombia.According to NIOSH, Ergonomics is the scientific study of people at work that seeks to prevent soft tissue injuries and musculoskeletal disorders (MSD) caused by sudden or sustained exposure to forces, vibrations, repetitive movements and awkward postures. (NIOSH, ND), therefore, within organizations, an analysis of the health conditions of collaborators at the musculoskeletal level must be carried out and the biomechanical risk should be assessed in order with this information to propose treatment actions for said risk, framed in an epidemiological surveillance program. The objective of this project is to design the Osteomuscular Epidemiological Surveillance Program for the mitigation of Biomechanical risk in the Almapal Colombia Company. The population sample is made up of 100% of the active collaborators of the organization distributed between 7 people from the administrative area and 3 from the operational area for a total of 10 workers. A study is presented that has a qualitative approach developing descriptive methods given that the information was collected from the diagnoses and analyzes that the Almapal Colombia company has carried out within its SG-SST in recent years, in order to characterize the organization and thus, to know the current status against the legal requirements established in Decree 1072 of 2015 in its Article 2.2.4.6.24. Prevention and control measures where in Paragraph 3 it establishes that "The employer must develop actions to monitor the health of workers through medical evaluations of entry, periodic, retirement and epidemiological surveillance programs, in order to identify early effects towards health derived from work environments and evaluate the effectiveness of prevention and control measures; " (MINISTERIO DEL TRABAJO , 2016) In order to know the health conditions of the collaborators, a survey of felt morbidity is applied through the Nordic Kuorinka questionnaire, then the ARO methodology is applied to the operational staff and the ROSA methodology (Rapid Office Strain Assessment) to identify and evaluate the Biomechanical risk derived from their functions. According to the results obtained from the application of the aforementioned instruments, the Osteomuscular Epidemiological Surveillance Program is elaborated, where the follow-up and control activities to be implemented within Almapal Colombia are detailed, as well as the need for training in topics such as postural hygiene, load handling, active breaks and Healthy Lifestyles and finally, the conclusions and recommendations are described in accordance with the results achieved in the project.
