The need to maintain continuous and efficient production at all times, has developed a new perspective of the conservation and use of equipment in industrial enterprises; and this is how were implemented increasingly Maintenance concepts. Colombian University School of Industrial racing is a family business dedicated to providing educational services. As part of teaching methodologies - learning a didactic thermal plant that supports the theoretical activities of students and their level of use as a Maintenance Plan to ensure the maintenance and operation of equipment extending its life proposed handled. To reach the Maintenance Plan is proposed, were dispensed various stages in the process: data collection, data analysis, proposed solution containing: weekly maintenance, monthly maintenance and detailed semi-annual maintenance for each activity and related costs as well as personnel involved. Finally give some additional recommendations to achieve total thermal efficiency of teaching plant.

The joint study is a business unit located in Bogotá, can be justified to the extent that it becomes a useful tool for future decision- making by management that optimize the enlistment process and clearance of goods in the unit business of the company under study, identifying potential bottlenecks that affect the process in question. The main benefit would be for the company under study, taking into account the findings and improvements can be applied to other sales channels, further improving the service by reducing customer dissatisfaction and merchandise. Administratively service centers avoid rework that can delay other activities within the sales.

The proposed of a logistics’ methodology to mitigate the negative impact generated by Credit Notes on billing for a company of cleaning sector is done in order to provide a solution to the problem generated by the returns on orders due to developments in the area of preparation and delivery of goods. The approach of the proposal is exposed through a distribution plan, training staff, programs process flow and an alternative as definition of indicators to improving the logistics’ process in the company. For the structure of the proposed, it was analyzed under information supplied directly by the company and as secondary sources academic support methodologies and tools that can contribute positively to respond to the issues raised when they were performed. The proposal is supported by several subjects of specialization in production and international logistics point of views by the authors, for application to a real case and provide knowledge to serve as an instrument to provide continuous improvement to local business.
