This monograph provides an analysis and investigation of different issues about maintenance power generation plants, the which ones focus on the evaluation of a software that can monitor the mode of operating of power generation plants, due to the drawbacks present nowdays in its maintenance, what causes great economic loss, significant low-productivity in the Company and a major loss of reputation with customers or users of the plants. It is essential define the problems arising, in order to recognize the most important shortcomings. Then it continues with the development of the theoretical framework and the issues related, to achieve an effective evaluation of the variables which are to be monitored. Being necessary to do surveys and use tools that allow to establish the most common faults, Additional, submission a proposal with the costs of investment of the project, in which includes: spare parts prices, procedures, labour, raw material, staff training and other concepts related. Finally some recommendations are made and conclusions of feasibility for the implementation of the system of monitoring satellite of power generation plants.

In this research work are analyzed the necessary concepts for monitoring the active status of an equipment (disconnection of equipment), and the step by step for the configuration and entirely implementation of a server for monitoring equipment, accomplishing to visualize in a graphical user interface using a web application and display in real-time the disconnections. This is done in order to create a history record of equipment failures and implement the maintenance indicator (availability) that is required for electronic security.

This degree work aims to propose the development of a software-friendly maintenance user, to apply in maintenance management of the company's mass transit "Connexion Mobile", in order to simplify processes within the organization, so that it can carry out a preventative plan for each maintenance machines, equipment, vehicles, etc. Keeping records by date, calculate costs and input requirements and to develop activities that are scheduled. Besides offering the possibility of including modules inventory, purchases and expenses, invoicing, treasury and accounting. The data to be collected and subsequently entered into the system are products of digital work orders, diligenciadas by mechanical engineers. Scheduled maintenance of corrective and preventive type to be applied to vehicles, the purchase and supply of spare parts dealer required for optimal management, etc. They will be entered into the software independently, as it has the ability to organize, manage, schedule and report any work related to maintenance that is required by the fleet of Connexion Mobile, so that all data is properly stored in the system later use.
