The tourism is an activity that human beings practice to know different countries and cultures; with the time, the tourism has become in one of the most lucrative business for all nations due to the profit that it generates. This industry is handled basically by the hotel sector which takes charge of the accommodation of people, whether for tourism or business purposes. Being a sector that generates a high profit index, there is a high demand of hotels that offer different services to compete with the others. The number of international tourists have increased in the last years as a result of the different economic and cultural changes that the country lives at present, the free trade agreement (TLC, Available on October 30, 2008), the inclusion of several multinationals as Art Hotels & Condominiums (Belgium), a luxury hotel chain, and Intercontinental Hotels Group (United Kingdom) a hotel chain in charge of hotels in Colombia as Holiday Inn, Waya Guajira and Bog 87 and by strategies as Colombia es Pasión and Colombia es Realismo Mágico.

El proyecto “Software para la medición de capital social en organizaciones medianas del sector servicios”, busca que las empresas del sector productivo, bien sea de bienes o servicios, aborden y conozcan las redes donde puedan verse proyectadas y así logren un crecimiento empresarial en su campo laboral. Para lograr esto, el proyecto se basa en la creación de un software, el cual le permitirá a las organizaciones ingresar una serie de datos para que así conozcan el capital social con el que cuentan, creando estrategias de mejora en cuanto al clima organizacional al interior de la empresa, teniendo en cuenta que es un aspecto importante para aumentar la productividad de la misma. Dentro de los sectores productivos que estudia el proyecto se encuentran las organizaciones dedicadas al sector turístico y educativo en Bogotá.

According to the nature of the National Police and taking as a basis the right to enjoyment of free time through tourism in secure environments, the General Law of Tourism "Law 300 of 1996", creates the Tourist Police, within the Directorate of Specialized Services of the National Police. Hierarchically the Tourist Police depends on the National Police and administratively depends on the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism. In this sense, Decree No. 4222 of November 23, 2006 "By which the structure of the Ministry of National Defense is partially modified" establishes in article 9 the functions of the Directorate of Protection and Special Services, giving it competence to guide and establish the necessary guidelines for the fulfillment of protection services for people, for the environment and natural resources, for children and adolescents, for tourists and for the archaeological, cultural and religious heritage of the nation.
