The present investigation was aimed at demonstrating the influence of the type of employment relationship, the importance of the psychological contract and the repercussions on job satisfaction of the Dentists of the Promta Dental Medical Clinic in Antioquia. The research has an ex post factual design, of a non-experimental type, taking as representative sample of 76% of the target population, that is, forty-two (42) Dentists. For the evaluation, an instrument authored by the researchers was used, which is why it was validated by experts. the scale implemented operationalizes the construct of satisfaction of the participants in the face of different factors of their contractual relationship with the promta clinic, such as satisfaction with the current working conditions of the promta clinic, workload, psychological contract, participation and management of change, leadership characteristics , opportunities for the use and development of skills and knowledge, social relationships at work and organizational clarity, the results obtained which were tabulated in an Excel document, evidence that job satisfaction is associated with the variables of type of employment relationship and contract psychological. However, The data show that there is a direct relationship between job satisfaction and the type of work relationship currently maintained by the dentists of the clinic and that there is no relationship between the type of relationship and the psychological contract. These results contribute to future research aimed at studying the variables that positively or negatively interfere with the job satisfaction of dentists.
