Publicación Acceso abierto Publicación Acceso abierto Diagnóstico al programa de protección contra caídas para la empresa Applus(2016) Chala Lopez, Gloria AngelaThe present work consists of diagnose the protection program against falls at work at high heights in the process of climbing by a fixed structure and positioning, that’s the case of the company Applus, which is implementing it according the guidelines of the management system of security and health at work, that’s search as an mainly objet safeguard the health of the worker. It was based on the current regulations of the minister of work and social protection which regulates the works at heights in terms of risk mitigation, the employer and workers’ duties, the certification process in terms of labor skills and its strict compliance. The phases of the methodology allowed making theoretical-practical recognition of the protection program against falls at work, their control and mitigation measures. For this purpose a survey was made where the program achievements, the knowledge and the application of the operational staff in the procedures establish by the company stand out. When tabulating the results of the survey we can conclude and recommend improvement actions within the program, as the emergency plan and the secure practices allows continuous improvement and mitigate accidents or incidents which workers are exposed to. A raíz de esta evolución la empresa se ha preocupado durante este año por el bienestar de su personal y mejorar las condiciones laborales de sus integrantes. Por esta razón con la presente investigación se da inicio a la formulación para su implementación de algunos de los requisitos establecidos en la normatividad nacional vigente en materia de salud y seguridad en el trabajo, como es la caracterización sociodemográfica de la población trabajadora, condiciones de salud , identificación y valoración de los riesgos a los cuales se encuentra expuesto el personal. Due to the frequent electrical occupational risks during the last year, the goals of the company take more time to be met. In fact, the company has increased the work-related accidents and incidents. This situation affects directly the company performance and its economy. To address this problem, the research opted for the explanatory methodology which explains by some authors’ theories, researches, textbooks and others, how communication might be an efficient tool to avoid accidents and incidents at work. In this specific case at “Provenza imperial, Constructora Marval”. Likewise, this research method is synthetic because it relates the organizational communication to the occupational hazards. Also these theories take different elements, unify them, resulting in a new theory that will be used to address the main problem of this research. With this research wants to demonstrate that through a good communicative organizational management in a company, the occupational risks could be reduced. Lastly, it is recommended t to generate good communication channels with the employees under respectful terms. They could be used to spread important information such as campaigns, videos, games, activities and so forth, building awareness among the employees, and their role in the company, making them understand the responsibility that comes with it.Publicación Acceso abierto
