As initial work was featured database of the hospital in which the accident data of employees are, we seek to analyze the trend of accidents in the administrative and health care workers by type of locative, ergonomic and biological hazards to determine which population had higher accident rate during 2013. Research was based on the high rates of accidents suffered by workers not only locally and regionally if not globally, because the conditions of work make risks that adversely affect the safety and health in the generated exposed workers and certain activities which develop within organizations. For data analysis the variables outlined in the Single Reporting Format Work Accident (FURAT) of workers who have been injured in the described period were taken, also aims to analyze the number of accidents by type of risk within the organization. It is hoped that the results of the research can generate corrective and preventive measures within the hospital so that the rate of accidents and minimize health conditions hospital workers ensure. Key Words: Occupational accident, risk and risk factors.Publicación Acceso abierto La educación continua una necesidad para el personal asistencial de los centros de salud: estudio documental 2006- 2015(2016) Diaz Triana, Astrid; Montejo Garzon, CatherineHealth centers are places that provide wellness care, including hospitals, clinics, outpatient care centers, centers specialized care, in these health centers works a human resource with different professions, however, for the welfare service their staff consists of: head nurses, nursing assistants, instrumentalists, general practitioners and medical specialists who most represents a direct use with biomedical equipment in health centers, an activity that requires having previous knowledge and continuous updates during use and avoid or reduce adverse event reports associated with the use of biomedical equipment. The aim of this study is to investigate and identify the inevitable need for continuing education in the use of biomedical equipment, primarily for the care team of health centers through a document review within the period 2006- 2015. The methodology quantitative research is cutting descriptive documentary study uses the technique for finding information needs associated risks and the lack of continuing education for the nursing staff of the health centers. The translations of the research study can show that there is a need for a continuing education program in health centers because it is evident that the nursing staff does not have the full knowledge of the use of biomedical equipment causing poor equipment operation and to an adverse event associated with lack of training, the need for health center to maintain prestige likewise meet the standards established for quality management system, drive to continuing education to develop. The purpose of the project is to validate the efficiency of the implementation of the Management System in the reduction of accidents in the company and ensure that in this way protection and promotion of the life and integrity of the company's workers are guaranteed. In the development of the project, the design and implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System is included under the guidelines established by the Presidency of the Republic through decree 1072 of 2015, the analysis of the data provided by the company in relation to accidents, the validation of the efficiency of the implementation of the management system, the proposal of proposals for improvement in the organization and the specific development of risk management programs with mechanical emphasis.
