Epidemiological surveillance is a very effective tool that makes the prevention of occupational risks and health at work a dynamic, efficient and continuous improvement process. Obesity and overweight are high risk for the suffering of chronic degenerative diseases, can be defined as that organic disorder of functions that forces a modification in the way of life of those who suffer from it and that is likely to persist for a long time. Therefore, the main objective of this study is to design an epidemiological surveillance program for the control of obesity or overweight that will help improve the quality of health of the personnel of the company Servicios y Alimentos SAS, at the end of the year 2020. For which, it is composed of several schemes that not only describe the exposed problem, but also justify the accomplishment, pertinence and importance of this investigation. On the other hand, the theory is supported with theoretical, legal and research background. These are a fundamental part of this development, because they provide a starting point and clearly focus the concepts and what we want to expose within it, since we seek to understand that improving daily habits, through healthy living habits, is equal to quality of life.
