Abstract

This project is based on making a proposal of preventive maintenance for a double wet screw compressor, which is located on the premises of the company cars Mega headquarters service center, second floor savannah. This compressor neuralgic supplies compressed air to the use of pneumatic tools, which are used to perform preventive and corrective maintenance, sheet and painting based vehicles of Ford, Chevrolet, Renault, Volkswagen brands. Currently this compressor blade no proper preventive maintenance, or predictive, the team will fail every period of about eight months, the failure is not the same as previous picture this creates a difficult diagnosis to predict and parties concerned generated more serious damage to the unit because there is no maintenance to ensure perfect operation. The objective to be achieved with this proposed preventive maintenance is to take a stricter maintenance for the equipment to reach failure and achieve proper route to reduce errors and ensure the reliability and dependability of the affected computer control. Obtaining an improved quality time and work in customer vehicles and protecting the pneumatic machines that work with this compressed air generated by the air compressor.
