La mujer dentro del pensamiento neoclásico colombiano del siglo XIX

Abstract

El presente estudio propone un análisis y estudio de la obra ‘Convulsiones’ del poeta Luis Vargas Tejada, más específicamente al poema ‘¡No Más Amor!’ de su autoría, cuyo propósito se centra en descubrir la relevancia del pensamiento neoclásico y romántico dentro del imaginario femenino allí narrado, el cual estaba enmarcado dentro del marco patriarcal, que estaría influenciado por la poesía neoclásica europea y el movimiento ilustrado en ese siglo, al igual que el movimiento clásico de la Grecia antigua. En primer lugar, se hace un contraste entre los pensamientos de aquella época plasmados en la obra, un análisis retrospectivo que busca entender cuáles han sido las incidencias de las ideas de cada movimiento dentro del imaginario femenino del siglo XIX y su inicio hacia una lucha por dignificar a la mujer. En segundo lugar, mediante una metodología basada en la semiótica, se validó el yo poético del autor como representativo del imaginario femenino a partir de la propia identificación. Se pudo concluir que sí hay un acercamiento a la identidad femenina dentro de su contexto histórico

This study proposes an analysis and study of the work ‘Convulsiones'; by the poet Luis Vargas Tejada, more specifically the poem ‘¡No Más Amor!' by his authorship, whose purpose is to discover the relevance of neoclassical and romantic thought within the feminine imaginary narrated there, which was framed within the patriarchal framework, which would be influenced by European neoclassical poetry and the movement illustrated in that century, as well as the classical movement of ancient Greece. In the first place, a contrast is made between the thoughts of that time captured in the work, a retrospective analysis that seeks to understand what have been the incidences of the ideas of each movement within the imaginary of the woman of the nineteenth century and its beginning towards a struggle to dignify the woman. Secondly, through a methodology based on semiotics, the author's poetic self was validated as representative of the feminine imaginary based on his own identification. It was concluded that there is an approach to feminine identity within its historical context.
