dc.description.abstract	RESUMEN Introducción. El cáncer de colon y de recto (CCR), es la cuarta causa más frecuente de muerte por cáncer. Generalmente se origina en pólipos del colon. Los pólipos con tamaños superiores a 10 mm, tienen mayor riesgo de CCR. No se dispone de métodos adecuados para medir los pólipos durante la colonoscopia. Con una medida exacta del pólipo, se puede elegir correctamente el tamaño del asa de polipectomía para resecarlo y también recomendar más objetivamente la vigilancia, cada tres años, cuando al paciente se le encuentra uno o más pólipos de 10 mm o más.	spa
dc.description.abstract	SUMMARY Introduction. Colon cancer and rectal cancer (CRC) is the fourth most common cause of cancer death. Usually originates from colon polyps. Polyps greater than 10 mm sizes have increased risk of CRC. There are no adequate methods to measure polyps during colonoscopy. With an accurate measure of the polyp, it can correctly choose the size of polypectomy snare and also recommend to dry it objectively monitoring every three years, when the patient is located one or more polyps 10 mm or more.	eng
