Publicación Acceso abierto Desarrollo de un sistema integral para la recolección y separación de redes de pesca abandonadas en el mar: una propuesta innovadora para su reutilización en la industria textil(Universidad ECCI, 2024) Lopez Lubo, Manuel Alfonso; Campos Guerrero, Maria Elizabeth; Pira Guevara, Paula Valentina; Revuelta Licea, EngelsMarine pollution, which has worsened significantly in recent decades, represents a significant global challenge, especially due to the accumulation of abandoned fishing nets in the ocean, which seriously threatens marine life. The methodology used in this research has proven to be effective for address the problem of marine pollution by recovering and separating marine waste abandoned fisheries, turning them into valuable resources for the textile industry. The Results obtained include effective collection, efficient separation of materials and a positive impact on the reduction of marine pollution. facing complex environmental challenges, these results underscore the feasibility and importance to adopt sustainable and collaborative approaches.
