Currently companies must face a world in globalization and constant changes. Where the customer is the key part of the supply chain as it determines the demand for the products and / or services. Therefore, it is essential to respond efficiently to customer requirements; this project aims to propose an automation of the optical inspection process control vials Plant 8 Vitrofarma Company SA This because the process is done in a rudimentary way, delaying processes and prevents the increase in production capacity vials liquids, considering that in a world where constantly persons acquire new infections and diseases which is represented industrially accessibility of drugs for such purposes, with the drug industry one of the most required the implementation of new technologies. Yet even in countries like Colombia implementing high-cost technologies, it is gradually and slowly. In this text, you will find the proposal process automation optical inspection, analysis of current versus expected capabilities, cost and return on investment taking into account the sector working, viable results are show for the company. The methodology used in the project begins with the identification and justification of the problem, proceed to the analysis of the current situation (production and inspection capabilities) and finalizes the proposed implementation of alternative automation would be used in the study area.
