A company with 15 years in the market that has dealt with its sales but not its organizational development, since having an acceptable sales margin has not decided to take the next step in the development of the company in which it includes an organizational structure and appropriate documentation so that over time the growth of the company does not hinder the processes for lack of organizational culture. Market demands are not only focused on price, but also the good development of its operations and its good organizational culture, as well as the fact that the company realizes that it must currently assume losses that are not notable for its good margin of sales, but that when they are integrated in the income statements can mean considerable orders, and that they can be used in investment for the company. For Mr. Sierra and his empiricism, the operations they carry out are being well directed due to their good sales margin, but he has the perception of losses due to administrative failures, he considers them to be failures that should occur and should only be assumed by the company without the need for To be corrected for this, we based our information on an interview and photographic records of our field work, from which it was possible to obtain decisive information for the development of the investigation. Why create and implement indicators that will enable the company to improve its "level of service" also improving its inventory process at any level within the company is evident, this confirms the scope of the proposal, together with their limitations. The objectives and purposes for which has developed this proposal are described. The resource planning from demand forecasting is one of the main activities to achieve complete harmony between planning and material consumption. Therefore, this research aims to identify the different models for the control of planning materials that have a high impact on the production process of the company, including the factors and variables that affect the optimal development of the supply chain. The result is defined and provides a model for planning distribution requirements (DRP), by which it can control the material requirements in bulk and optimum times, based on forecasts of customer demand. Taking into account the general instability of the markets in the last time, the retail supplies sector hasn’t been the exception, it is necessary to orientate the efforts and resources of the company on and optimal way that will be reflected on benefits for it. For the inventory management on Forus Colombia, on the first place a general diagnose of the company was made that will allow identifying the weaknesses to make and emphasis on them. For this we conducted a detailed analysis of the current inventory system to identify which activities can be improved to the inventory model. After this management indicators where implemented, that allow to make a real measurement of the company situation before and after the sensitization of the employees. Taking into account that the main problem of the company lies in mismanagement of inventories, it was necessary to recommend the implementation of and inventory model more consistent and more reliable in terms of the operation of the company and demand for each of the stores, that could answer the questions, ¿how much should I order?, ¿when do it?, ¿how much to send a store? And ¿ what kind of merchandise sent to a store? That allow the general manager to realize the importance of the model to speed up and improve the way the company used to ask the merchandise, determine exactly which merchandise should be sent to each store and be clear rotation time inventory, depending on variables such as costs and delivery times from suppliers, taking into account the historical demand for each of the lines operated by Forus Colombia. In the propose that was done it will indicate step by step how implement the different tools. The implementation will focused in the critical points which was found in the actually state, but the tools will be developed and implement for every production department and each activity involved. Also the process of training will be for every person that work for the production area, with the direction of the manager. The target of the work it is increase the utility of the company throw the optimization the production area. It will be with the implementation of tools that do not have an expensive investment.
