Occupational Health and Safety programs are frequently faced with the danger of accidents as a consequence of the unsafe behavior of workers. It has been shown that a higher percentage of accident causes corresponds to unsafe acts, ranking above unsafe causes. This is why for several years in the world there has been talk of Behavioral Based Safety (SBC). What this research project aims to demonstrate is whether, through the implementation of an SBC program in a construction organization, a climate of evident security can be consolidated in the way people act, which can be measurable, quantifiable and verifiable in time, supported by the creation and application of a field observation program. According to what was found in the execution, it is shown that the SBC generates changes at the individual level and suggests an organizational learning style that is finally interpreted as the creation of a safety environment that guides people to work safely by conviction.
