2020

For the development of this work, we wanted to know those methods and tools that are implemented in Colombia, for the reduction of supraspinatus syndrome caused by ergonomic agents in different jobs. For this, three Colombian companies were taken into account: Centro Ferretero Mafer S.A.S, Energy Consulting Group and Colombiana Kimberly Colpapel S.A., in which a population sample of 30 employees who are at risk and have the disease of this syndrome were taken. A diagnosis was started to determine the main causes of this disease and how companies are acting to prevent and mitigate these risks. Identifying that this is one of the musculoskeletal diseases that most afflicts the working population. The results found in this investigation let us know that this disease occurs, due to the high rates of repetitive movement and manual labor. Causing excessive pain in the arm. This is how a series of recommendations is given for the companies involved in this project, in order to put them into practice and prevent occupational diseases. With the identification of the different symptoms of supraspinatus syndrome and the recommendations given to the companies involved in the research, they will be able to modify, replace or eliminate any function or task that involves excessive effort with pain in the arm, thus greater effectiveness without delays or complications. worker's health, evidencing the concern of companies for their collaborators, expanding their sense of commitment and belonging to them
