Propuesta de optimización para el mejoramiento de la gestión de inventarios caso de estudio: almacén de mantenimiento del hospital de la Universidad Nacional

This research project proposal focuses on the study of the impact that the mismanagement has in the warehouse of the Hospital of the National University in maintenance spare parts. A physical and economic analysis of the current state of the warehouse, the location of the inputs, the quantity of inputs, the rotation of the same were carried out where it was sought to identify the most relevant factors that avoid giving a good handling of it. An interview was applied to the people most involved with the warehouse where aspects such as order, cleanliness, high costs, supplies in the state and breakdowns without justification were highlighted. Thanks to the analysis of the results, it is possible to observe the point of view of the personnel related to the warehouse in each of the questions, resulting in the proposal to implement a methodology where ABC and FIFO systems will be applied.
